Photographer Barbara Schmick contributed this photo to the ‘Pumpkin Watch.’ Says Barbara:

“This photo has gotten so much mileage. I’ve sold 8×10 prints, postcards, it has been on the front page of our local newspaper in Columbia County and he was “Mr. October” a few years ago in the Columbia County [N.Y.] tourism calendar.”

‘Mr. October,’ by the way, is syndicated financial columnist Bill Schmick, which adds to the photo’s hilarity. Clearly, his views on growth potential are even more diverse than I first suspected.
