About six months ago, my niece DQ (who just turned 13 over the weekend, wow!) taught JaxDad how to text and send pics with his phone. I don’t think my father and I have ever corresponded more. Plus, he’s gotten into the Pumpkin Watch fun for Blogtoberfest, deftly sending snaps of seasonal scenes from his travels:
