Petrifying Ink

My friend Adam is a snappy designer and illustrator, who has apparently been burning the midnight oil channeling the Creepy Season into a series of pen and ink drawings. I first spotted them in my Instagram stream; there are more at Adam’s art and illustration site Little Green Toaster and his scratch blog I’d Rather Be a Robot.

This undead surfer is one of my favorites – note how he hangs ten with arm in hand. And look at that board stance.

…And here is a forlorn, impish skele-child, a la Margaret Keane on a bad acid trip.

I love seeing seasonal changes in one’s creative work and look forward to a cornucopia of new work from Adam in November. And a flurry of activity in December. And to still be in touch with him in January, despite my bad puns.
