I usually don’t like steadfast rules for writing or editing, but my fellow scribe wrote this suggestion for editing your own work on his blog, Write Now.
The entry, Don’t Be a Yoda, offers a few Jedi mind tricks to keep your writing concise.
I tried them, and now I’m using the anti-Yoda all the time, and it really helps to streamline your stories. Mmm, the tip I thank you for, Dave!
