ReStoring for Halloween

One of my favorite places to go, not just shop, is the ReStore. I’ve lived in two cities in the last two decades, and thankfully both of them had a local ReStore; a few years ago, I found a third location near where I was working at the time.

No two ReStores are the same; some focus on building materials, some furniture, others are chock full of lamps, rugs, books, and art. At all locations, however, stock is ever-changing as new donations from individuals and businesses roll in. This week, my local ReStore has pulled out all the spook. Among the aisles:

This was in a large bell jar full of vintage matchbooks selling for $195 dollars.

Coven Cleaner

The Witch-dusting-a-corner had quite the sassy ’fit.

Hooked on Hellions

Is this the Green Man on the side of a mirror? It’s also a little reminiscent of the door-knockers in Labyrinth — though, it’s rude to stare.

Let’s Vamp

The man in the black hat gives decided vampire vibes, what with the chapeau-cummerbund combo.

…and here is the aforementioned jar of matchbooks, simply because it’s so impressive:
